Delete from inside the app
- Open Kento and go to My Games → Cloud.
- Sign in with the account you want to delete, if you are not signed in.
- Tap “Delete my account” and confirm.
This removes your account and every game you uploaded to the cloud, immediately and permanently.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, send an email to rbkececi@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Kento account deletion”. Your account and cloud data are deleted within 30 days; we reply when it is done.
Delete data without deleting your account
You can remove individual games from the cloud and keep your Kento account:
- Open Kento and go to My Games → Cloud.
- Find the uploaded game you want to remove.
- Tap Delete on that slot and confirm.
The game's SGF file is removed from our servers immediately and permanently; your account, and any other games you left in the cloud, stay untouched. To have specific data removed for you instead, email rbkececi@gmail.com from your sign-in address, saying what should be deleted; it is handled within 30 days.
What is deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account (email address, display name) | Deleted permanently |
| Games uploaded to the cloud (SGF) | Deleted permanently |
| Games stored on your device | Never sent to us; removed by deleting the app |
| Purchases | Held by Google Play / the App Store, not by us. A lifetime unlock stays tied to your store account and can be restored. |
| Error reports | Not tied to your account — they carry no email, name or game data, so deleting your account does not apply to them. To stop them entirely, turn off Settings → Privacy → "Send error reports" in the app; nothing further is sent from that moment. To have reports already collected removed, email us and we instruct Google to delete them. |
No backup copies are kept after deletion, except where a short-lived encrypted backup exists at our hosting provider; those expire automatically within 30 days.
